A vacancy currently exists in Laois County Council for the position of Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer. This senior role in Laois Fire Services will be required to lead and manage the team in any of the three main disciplines of the Fire Service: Operations, Prevention or Emergency Management. S/he will work in an inter-agency environment and with external stakeholders and may be required to act as Rostered Senior Fire Officer at operational incidents.
