Job location - Laois. Job Type - Permanent. Salary - Negotiable. A leading animal feed manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Nutritionist. This is a full-time permanent role and based in a fast paced feed mill environment. Are you currently seeking a career move and a possess a keen interest in animal nutrition ? If so this may be the role for you. This is a new position with career progression a distinct possibility. Reporting to the Feed Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for the following duties. You will be responsible for formulating feed for ruminant , pig , pet and equine. Manage compliance with labelling requirements and legal parameters set by the EU. Inspect and utilise feed raw materials. Implement a testing regime to optimize formation safety and animal performance. Quality control and conduct vendor audits. Source innovative feed technologies to support sales growth. Candidate profile BAgrSc in animal science or related discipline. Strong IT Skills with strong attention to detail. Experience of working in animal nutrition and / or feed mill environment is a distinct advantage. Salary. DOE.
