A Farm Machinery dealer in the Kildare area is currently recruiting for an Agricultural Mechanic. This is a full-time permanent role. My client has been serving the Irish agricultural trade for 60 years. Presently we are looking to recruit add an additional Mechanic to the team. Key Accountabilities. Fault-finding. Repair. Overhaul and the maintenance of farm tractors and farm machinery including balers; bale wrappers; mowers; diet feeders and harvesters. Responsible for performing routine repairs on vehicles; technical tasks and procedures; working with technical information in manuals and specifications and inspecting and testing system and fault diagnosis, Skills and Experience. Fully Qualified Agricultural Mechanic with experience. Experience working with Modern Tractors and Agricultural Machinery. Knowledge of vehicle electronic systems and fault diagnostics essential. Ability to work on own initiative, especially when attending machinery at customer locations. Must prove ability to complete in house records, e.g. Job cards. Full, clean driving license.
