Description

We are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant for a Co Laois based client. This is a full time, permanent position with opportunity to further your accounting studies. My client are an Irish owned business who operate in Ireland, nationwide and in the UK. Duties will include: Transaction processing and reconciliations (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Process supplier invoices dealing with all queries which arise. Monitoring and resolution of customer queries. Assist finance team with month end reporting. Preparation of weekly multi company payroll. Processing of all bank transactions and reconciliations, providing support and cover to the finance team members as required such as: cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and month end reporting. Other ad hoc reports and duties as requested. Skills and Experience: 3-5 years general accounting experience in areas such as accounts payable and receivable, credit control, invoicing, payroll and bank transaction processing. Accounts Technician or working towards a professional accounting qualification or hold a suitable Finance/Business third level qualification advantage. Proven communication skills and strong attention to detail. Fluent in written and spoken English. The ability to work well as part of a team and on their own initiative. Strong IT skills with proven application of MS Office 365 (Excel, Outlook and Word. Experience of SAP and multi-currency exposure an advantage. Good time management skills and strong interpersonal and organisational skills. Excellent salary on offer dependent on experience along with study support.
