Warehouse Manager required by multinational R&D manufacturer in Co. Laois. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the successful candidate will control the interface between the Supply Chain and Manufacturing ensuring a smooth flow of materials to and from Manufacturing and will manage the warehouse operatives on a daily basis. Responsibilities: Working in a dynamic environment ensure the efficient flow of inbound and outbound material in collaboration with Procurement, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing. Drive efficiency in the work practices as required by the Master Production Schedule and Build Plans. Manage all local transport including the safe shipping between the Warehouse and the Production Facility thereby minimising damage and unnecessary non conformance costs. Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are being adhered to. Ensure a high level of inventory accuracy in the Warehouse utilizing the latest Inventory Management Techniques, timely/accurate data processing and best in class house-keeping standards. Be accountable for all elements of Compliance including Quality, Regulatory, Health and Safety requirements to ensure the safety of the staff, equipment and facilities. Ensure the delivery of KPI’s covering cost, quality and timeliness of the services being provided to the business and at all times keeping our customers at the centre of the decision making. Requirements: A relevant qualification , membership of APICS and/or the IIPMM would also be a distinct advantage. Experience in a Warehouse Management role. Leadership ability to get the best outcomes form the Warehouse Team. Strong communication skills to ensure clear direction to the Warehouse Team. Continuously develop a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the Team. People Management skills to deliver the best results from the human resources deployed in the Warehouse. Strong IT skills, specifically in relation to ERP/Warehouse Management Applications and the MS Office Product Suite. Business acumen to develop in the role as the Company grows.
