Psychologists - Irish Prison Service. Cpl Healthcare are recruiting for a number of long term locum assignment on behalf of the Irish Prison service based across a number of locations on a nationwide basis. Immediate vacancies will be located in: Midlands Prison x 1. Portlaoise Prison (maximum security) x 1. Castlerea x 1. National Violence Reduction Unit x 1 (Midlands. Further vacancies will arise in other locations such as Dublin, Cork and Limerick later in the year, we are very interested in speaking with applicants for current and future positions. We also welcome applications from 2019 graduates to commence post graduation. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team including Prison Governors, Prison Officers, Probation Officers, Doctors, Nurses, Psychiatrists, Teachers, Employment, and Resettlement officers, the successful candidate will providing a psychology service to clients who are experiencing a wide range of emotional, mental health and other offence related difficulties. Interested candidates must: Be eligible for graduate membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or the British Psychological Society (BPS. And. Hold a postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical Psychology recognised by PSI.
