In partnership with the Irish Prison Service Cpl Healthcare are currently recruiting experienced Psychiatric, General and Dual Qualified Nurses for permanent fulltime and part time positions within the Irish Prison Service. Interviews are taking place in May/June 2019. Prison Locations: We are currently seeking Nurses for Prisons in all of the below areas: Mountjoy Prison and The Dóchas Centre - North Dublin - full and part time positions avaialble. Cloverhill and Wheatfield Prisons - West Dublin - full and part time positions available. Midlands Prison – Portlaoise. Desired Experience: We are interested in speaking to dynamic Nurses with experience in the following areas: Emergency. Drug Detox. Addictions. Acute Medicine. Acute Surgery. Core Competencies & Skills. Health Needs Assessment. Risk Assessment. Care Planning. Emergency Response – CPR & First Aid. Wound Management. Drug Treatment. Primary Care. Job Requirements: NMBI registration or to be in process of your registration (RGN/RPN/ Dual Qualified. Right to work in Ireland. To be caring and compassionate. Excellent communication skills. To be flexible in approach. Ability to work independently and without direct supervision. Patient advocacy skills. IT skills. Job Offer. Permanent fulltime contract. Prison Nurse salary scale €34,330 - €45,855(LSI. 39 hours per week on a rostered basis. 22-24 days annual leave depending on years in service. Excellent induction programme.
