The Senior Software Developer is responsible for developing systems (new or improved) in languages evolved according to the quality standards required and by respecting the planned delays. The role involves: 1. Analysis 1.1 Collaborate in the development of possible solutions according to his/her specialty. 2. Functional documents (program architecture) 2.1 Collaborate in the formulation of problems and developing alternatives by using the information provided by the Architect. 2.2 Complete the system’s conceptual model. 2.3 Complete the system’s functional model. 2.4 Give his/her support in writing the user manual. 3. Programming 3.1 Prioritize his work according to the assignments. 3.2 Code in language 3GL and 4GL the components of the functional model or the change requests. 3.3 Program and test web applications in .NET and .NET Core. 3.4 Develop the interface pages according to the company’s standards. 3.5 Ensure compliance with programming quality standards. 3.6 Maintain and improve current applications. 4. Functional tests 4.1 Test the functioning of the program and ensure its synergy with the system’s other components. 4.2 Perform the system’s simulation before delivery to the Analyst. 5. Implementation (startup) 5.1 Give his/her support to the Analyst during the system’s implementation at the customer’s. 5.2 Occasionally, install system components at the customers. 6. Training 6.1 Occasionally trains the customer on technical aspects. 7. Follow-up and control 7.1 Perform developments to meet the expectations planned early in the mandate. 7.2 Follow up with the supervisor and/or client on the progress of their tasks. 8. Miscellaneous 8.1 Occasionally, evaluate service offers and change requests related to the mandate. 8.2 Help other Programmers according to his/her specialty. 8.3 Continue ongoing training on products; keep up to date on new products and best practices. 8.4 Occasionally, prepare customer demos. 8.5 Participate in the System’s functional definition. Skills: Teamwork: gives his/her opinion, asks others, supports the general opinion. Analytical: identify all a situation’s elements, compare data, detect the problems, and identify the causes. Innovative: willing to question current operation methods, bring new elements, and proceed to testing. Motivation: will to repeat several times and want to go further, despite the difficulties. Initiative: takes initiative, is creative and resourceful. Timeliness: knows the importance of meeting deadlines. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in computer science. At least 4 years of relevant experience. Good knowledge of C# and/or VB. Masters object-oriented programming. Comfortable with web development (HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
