Description

My client has a fantastic role for an experienced Senior Stores Lead at their new state of the art, start-up facility located in Laois. You will have responsibility to lead the stores and distribution department resolving any issues in a timely manner ensuring minimal or no disruption to Customer and site operations. Senior Stores Lead Responsibilities: Prepare Departmental key performance indicator reports resolving and reporting any issues in a timely manner. Clear lines of communication with Suppliers, QA and third party storage contacts. Liaise with Stores departments at all sites regarding intercompany transfers of raw material and finished good. Maintain ongoing clear communication with Supervisory Teams across all departments. Stores Supervisory duties to include Managing holidays and sickness, complete regular one to one meetings and prepare and deliver annual Personal development plans within the team. Manage and oversee site transport deliveries and collection. Manage and oversee purchasing of all raw materials,PPE and chemicals. Manage reconciliation of stocks held in third party stores, provide stock reports and maintain SAP Inventory and Warehouse systems. Custodial of all stores stocks, operations and buildings, highlighting any stocks or fabric issues. Oversee stock levels to ensure they are within agreed min and max for both sites. Ensure purchase orders and customer sales orders are raised and processed in a timely manner. Ensure all SAP transactions are completed in a timely manner. Track Hauliers and supplier performance. **FULL SPEC PROVIDED ON REQUEST** The Ideal Senior Stores person will have: Formal qualification or accredited training in any of the following -Supervisory Management, Stock Management / Logistics or the Food Science /Technology field. Previous experience of team leadership and supervision. Working knowledge of stock control / purchasing systems. Previous experience in a manufacturing / Production planning, with evidence of consistent achievement of targets. Working knowledge of SAP stock management system / SAP purchasing system.
