HR Manager. Sanderson is recruiting for an experienced perm hire HR Manager position for its Global Manufacturing client. Reporting to the business you will lead the HR function, providing support and guidance on all people related matters. Leading on organisation development initiatives and driving an agenda of engagement throughout the site, developing strong and effective working relationships with all Employees. Core Responsibilities. Develop and lead the HR development plan, reporting on progress against HR objectives. Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate HR Policies and Procedures in line with best practice, legal and organisational requirements. Manage the recruitment process and on-boarding plan for all new employees. Contribute talent and succession planning processes. Develop site L&D plan by department and evaluate effectiveness and return on investment. Coach and mentor other leaders on best practice leadership and management interaction with employees. Coordinate performance management system and provide support and guidance same. Embed a working culture based on dignity and respect. Provide guidance and support in all disputes resolution matters and take a leadership role on complex cases. Establish and manage site HR budget and produce monthly HR KPIs. Monitor all payroll activities, inputs, Time and Attendance, etc., and check / approve reports such gross to net and BACS transfer. Point of contact for all payroll related queries. Collate attendance statistics and assist Managers in the management of absence. Support the Management team in identifying trends to ensure rota patterns, overtime and absence are managed efficiently. Review in conjunction current structures such as on-going working patterns, and take advantage of any opportunities to standardise and simplify how the business operate. Deliver effective communication with all employees in line with a 24/7 operation and the various shift patterns in place. Liaise with the Management Team and Occupational Health Nurse to provide health surveillance for all employees. Liaise with government agencies in leveraging any opportunities for support in relation to people and Learning & Development. Operate and contribute as an effective member of the Site Management Team, including weekend cover as part of a Duty Manager rota. Health & Safety. Work proactively with the site safety and management team to support the on-going development of safety through effective leading KPIs. Support the development of PSOPs and competency assessment; with associated operator training, which promotes safe working practises, in accordance with relevant Health and Safety Legislation.
