Key Accountabilities Assist with preparation of Weekly P&L along with variance analysis and commentary to aid understanding. Assist with preparation of a weekly KPI report including commentary to aid understanding. Prepare and distribute weekly sales report. Assist with preparation of weekly yield and efficiency report including commentary and supplementary analysis to aid understanding and drive improvements. Assist with preparation of other operating reports as assigned to aid understanding and drive improvements. Work alongside NPD and Production to create product costings and maintain accurate and up to date BOM’s. Maintain standard costs of finished goods and production components within SAP. Analyse factory overheads including cost drivers and allocation methodologies. Support the Annual Budget and Quarterly forecast process. Assist and support the month end and year end close process including external audit queries as required. Assist and support with recording and reconciliation of fixed asset register. Assist and support sales order process where required. Preparation of customer and supplier reconciliations as required. Assist and support the financial accountant where required. Other ad hoc duties as assigned.   Other Responsibilities. Ensure the role is performed with due regard for the requirements of the Company Equal Opportunities Policy, Bullying and Harassment Policy and other applicable HR policies. Undertake any other duties as considered by the company to be within the scope of the role of the Assistant Accountant.   Health and Safety. Drive and support a positive Health and Safety culture within the department where H&S is given equal priority with all other activities. Promote the culture of “stop, think, act” within the department.              Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant / (CIMA, ACA, ACCA  Good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel Knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP.
