Control of Dogs Act 1986

As a result of the ongoing development of the Laois Dog Warden Service, we are recruiting for the following position:

KENNEL ASSISTANT

(part-time 20 hours per week)

·        Candidates should have a broad knowledge of canine care

·        Dog handling and animal welfare experience is essential

·        Good communication and organisational skills essential

·        Must be proactive, flexible and willing to work as part of a team

·        Administration and IT skills are required  

·        Educated to a satisfactory standard

·        Good standard of general fitness

·        Full clean driving licence required
